Wilson LED Design Lighting was contacted by a lighting consultant to supply a vandal resistant lighting solution. Wilson LED Strip Channel Lighting was selected to be installed along the bridge walkway crossing the Ovens River in Wangaratta, as well as the surrounding refurbished walkway areas.
The entire surrounds of the bridge was undergoing gentrification and the installation ensured that the appearance of the area was sophisticated and photogenic. The entire project included not only the vandal proof lights, but the recessed channel lighting in the timber and concrete walkways. The area has high traffic with a number of fine restaurants and events taking place in the district.
Wilson LED Design Lighting have recently completed a project for a local college where a number of high efficient Highbay LED lights were installed in the college gymnasium.
The gymnasium facility is used extensively during school hours for all types of activities and after hours the gymnasium transforms into a basketball and volleyball facility. Friday nights the gymnasium is also used for representative competition basketball.
With the heavy use of the facility it was seen as a priority to utilise an energy efficient lighting solution to save on energy costs, while at the same time create a safe environment for all of the activities utilising the facility. The install of the new Highbay LED lights the college saw many benefits.
